Landon Dowden
Landon Dowden serves as the senior pastor of Cross Point Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA. After graduating from LSU, he spent 8 years at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary earning a Master of Divinity, a Master of Theology, and a Ph.D. in Preaching. While working on his degrees, he traveled full-time speaking for numerous conferences and church events. He literally traveled coast to coast in the States and also led trips to Mexico, Germany, Chile, and the Bahamas. He continues to travel today speaking at Student Life events and other conferences. While Landon does not claim to have everything figured out about life, God, or why women love shoes so much, he knows that two keys for any pastor are to love his people and feed them God’s Word.
Landon and his wife Tara Leigh have two daughters, Arabella and Adalaide, and one son, Adoniram.
