Lee University
Student Life summers at Lee University have been a constant since 2000. That’s because this private Christian liberal arts school is ideally situated in the historic neighborhood of Cleveland, Tenn., with facilities that Student Life Camp and Student Life Mission Camp have come to trust and enjoy. The Conn Center, for example, is a favorite among Student Life staffers when it comes to choosing a room for Evening Worship and other large-group gatherings like Morning Celebration and Late Nite. It’s also very close to the cafeteria, recreation fields, housing and camp office.
In general, the campus has an overwhelmingly modern feel to it because many of its facilities are newly constructed. This provides for comfortable housing and meeting conditions during students’ time at camp. But there’s also more than enough green grass, beautiful shade trees and covered outdoor pavilions for students to enjoy God’s Word outside.
Lee University is just a quick 30-minute drive to Chattanooga, Tenn. This area is rich in service opportunities for Student Life Mission Camp participants. The close proximity to the Ocoee River allows groups to add a rafting experience either before or after Student Life Camp.www.leeuniversity.eduHousing
