Louisiana Tech University
With almost a decade of partnership in ministry to teenagers, Student Life Camp is excited to spend another summer on the campus of Louisiana Tech University. This school opened its doors to Student Life for the first time back in 1998, and every summer since then has been filled with students who met God for the first time at the home of the "Bulldogs."
The spacious Memorial Gym is where students gather for camp events such as Worship and Morning Celebration. The state-of-the-art cafeteria, with its all-you-can-eat and fast food options – such as Chick-Fil-A and Burger King – makes Louisiana Tech stand out among other camp locations. This location also offers more open space for students to enjoy recreation and free time than other sites. That also means a lot of options for quiet Bible study and prayer in a camp setting that’s ideal for worship.
Louisiana Tech is in Ruston, La., 60 miles east of Shreveport, La., and 30 miles west of Monroe, La. The town and surrounding areas offer numerous rich and fulfilling opportunities for students participating in Student Life Mission Camp.www.latech.edu
