Tuscarora Conference Center
Student Life Camp’s northernmost location, Tuscarora Inn and Conference Center, is a beauty of a retreat, pleasantly situated along the Delaware River in the majestic Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania. Tuscarora was founded in 1972 to provide a safe and fun place for Christians to get away and focus on their relationship with Christ away from the pressures and stresses of the world. That’s what led Student Life to join this location in summer camp ministry. Tuscarora is located in the town of Mt. Bethel, Pa., less than two hours from New York City, Philadelphia and the Jersey shore.
There’s not a bad view from any angle at Tuscarora. The old charm of the buildings on campus lends itself to a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere that students will relish and thrive in. Whether Bible study takes place out under the sun or inside newly built Senum Thompson Auditorium as part of corporate worship gatherings, students have at their disposal a spiritual home-away-from-home for five days that can make all the difference in their spiritual formation.
Student Life has enjoyed this ministry relationship with Tuscarora Inn and Conference Center since its beginning in the summer of 2003. It is a favorite among many on the Student Life staff, who continue to marvel at the God’s natural beauty in the surrounding Pennsylvania countryside.www.tuscarora.org
