Jeff Johnson
Stepping out on faith, Jeff Johnson left his secure job in corporate America in 2003 to follow a dream that God had placed within him to pursue Christ through music and to lead others to do the same. Not knowing exactly how he would get started, Jeff trusted that God did and has been blessed and humbled with opportunities to use his musical talents to lead worship in a variety of venues and to a wide range of audiences. From summer youth camps, retreats and weekly Bible studies, to festivals, rallies and church starts, God has faithfully used the Jeff Johnson Band to lead people all over the country in an authentic pursuit of Christ. And since his appearance on season four of American Idol in 2005, Jeff has witnessed God use a chance experience to take his ministry to people and places never originally anticipated.Jeff’s heart and the heart of the band members, as they write music and lead worship, is to facilitate an authentic environment of intimate and alive worship where students and adults alike can catch a glimpse of the God that heals, restores and sets free. Jeff and the band also believe in the importance of investing in the lives that God has entrusted them to lead, making it a priority to get to know students and adults, being real and accessible to them, building relationships with them and encouraging them on their own faith journeys.
